What monthly website care includes
Managed hosting and SSL
Millwards Digital handles the normal hosting setup for the website it builds. SSL supports the encrypted HTTPS connection visitors expect when viewing pages or submitting an enquiry.
Regular backups
Backups provide a recovery point if a technical problem or accidental change affects the live website, without leaving you to remember a separate backup routine.
Routine maintenance
The supported website setup receives the normal security and technical upkeep appropriate to the build. Security remains a continuing process rather than a one-off badge.
Support and content changes
Each package has an agreed change allowance for normal requests. New functionality, larger redesigns and work beyond that allowance are discussed before anything chargeable begins.
Website care costs £39, £69 or £99 per month
Launch care is £39 per month, Business care is £69 and Growth care is £99. The first month is paid with the one-off website build, then care renews monthly until cancelled.

The plans are sized around their matching websites rather than sold as interchangeable hosting accounts. Launch supports its focused one-page site, Business provides expanded support for a site of up to five core pages, and Growth provides priority support for the larger build. Domains, managed business email, paid imagery, specialist software and other outside services are separate where needed. A managed business email mailbox is an optional £4.99 monthly add-on. Any third-party charge is shown or agreed before payment.
Good maintenance keeps customer information useful too
A website can become less useful even while every page still loads. An old telephone number sends enquiries nowhere; an expired offer creates confusion; an outdated service page sets the wrong expectation. Millwards Digital handles the agreed technical care and change requests, while you share new business facts when they change.
When support is needed, send the page involved, what you expected and, where useful, a screenshot or the exact replacement wording. A normal request can then be checked against the package allowance. A new booking system, payment journey or substantial group of pages changes the scope and may need a separate quote.
Monthly cancellation and a reasonable handover route
Care has no minimum term beyond the month already paid for. It can be cancelled before the next billing date and ends at the close of that paid period.
If care ends, reasonable support is available to arrange a handover of transferable website content and services before hosting finishes. Bespoke final website deliverables can be used once the agreed build fee is paid; reusable tools and licensed third-party assets remain subject to their own terms.
A domain is related but separate. If Millwards Digital manages a new domain, its confirmed renewal is billed on its own annual Stripe schedule. Domain billing can be cancelled independently of monthly website care. If you already own the domain, you remain responsible for its registration unless another arrangement is confirmed.

Can I buy the website build without monthly care?
Every Millwards Digital website package includes its matching monthly care plan, giving your website hosting, maintenance and support from launch.
Does maintenance include unlimited changes?
No. Each plan includes an agreed content-change allowance. New functionality, larger redesigns and work outside that allowance are discussed and priced separately before work begins.
Is website care the same as domain renewal?
No. Monthly care covers the website’s hosting and ongoing service. A managed domain renews on its own annual schedule and is charged separately.
Can Millwards Digital maintain a website built elsewhere?
These care plans are designed for websites built by Millwards Digital. If you already have a website, send its details through the enquiry form for a migration or rebuild recommendation.
