Free tool

Free Google review link and QR code maker

Paste your Google Place ID and get a direct “write a review” link, a QR code you can download, and two things to print: a counter card (A6) and a window or van sticker. No sign-up, and nothing is sent anywhere: it all runs in your browser.

Don't have it? Use Google's own Place ID finder: search for your business name and copy the Place ID it shows.

How to use your review link properly

  1. Ask everyone, not just happy customers. Google's rules don't allow “review gating”, which means only sending satisfied customers to the review form.
  2. Don't offer anything in return. No discounts, freebies or prize draws for reviews. Google treats incentivised reviews as a policy breach.
  3. Ask at the right moment. Straight after a job is finished or a haircut is done, with the card on the counter or the link in your invoice email or text.
  4. Reply to every review, kindly and briefly, including the awkward ones.
  5. Test it yourself. Scan the code with your own phone and check it opens the right business.

You can also get a share link from your Google Business Profile. This tool is useful when you want printable cards and stickers, or only have the Place ID.

Common questions

What is a Place ID?

A code Google uses to identify one business or place on Maps. It isn't secret: it appears in links and in Google's Place ID finder.

Do you store my details?

No. The link, QR code and printouts are generated in your browser. We only count anonymous tool usage (for example, that someone built a link), not what you type.

Does the QR code expire?

It's a plain link to Google's review form for your Place ID, so it keeps working while your Google listing exists.
